The match committee has decided to hold competitions. Starting this Saturday, April 18.
A few things to get your heads around. We want it to work so that we can continue to hold competitions and most importantly we all stay healthy.
We do not want to threaten the closure of the club by not abiding by the rules.
Please be patient while we sort out the system.
All going well this is the protocol for Saturdays and Thursdays.
BOOKING TEE TIMES IS ESSENTIAL. Use the link below to book a Tee Time.
Do not turn up at the golf club looking for a game.
If you are unable to use this system please call me and I will book you in.

It works well on my computer.
On my mobile I had to install Google Sheets. Needed my google email address and password.
FINANCIAL MEMBERS ONLY can use the course. Subs were due March 31.
The toilets will be opened from 8.00 am until soon after the last pair complete their rounds.
We are golfing for exercise not socialising.
We do not want people congregating, arrive with enough time to collect your card and pay before your tee time.
Collect your score card from the volunteer at the door going into the bar.
For early hit off times pay and enter after 9 holes.
Pay your $10 match fee. Pay wave preferred but cash can be used , correct amount only.
Hit off at your correct tee time . Not earlier , not later.
Mark your own card, NEATLY. Write your playing partners name in the signature space and mark their score in the markers section
At the completion of your round place your card in the box where you entered.
The volunteer will put all the cards through the computer at the end of the day.
As per guidelines :
We are playing in 2’s.
Observe social distance.
Only hitting off the 1st tee.
Flag stays in.
Rake bunkers with your foot.
Preferred lies in bunkers. If your ball is plugged on the face of the bunker you must place in low area of the bunker. No penalty.
Do not walk up the front face of bunkers.
Repair pitch marks and divots.
The greens staff have enough to do without the added work caused by inconsiderate people.
While we gauge the numbers playing, daily prizes will be worked out as a proportion of entry fees.
There will be no NTP’s.
NARACOORTE GOLF CLUB HAS JOINED AUSTRALIA’S TOP - 100 PUBLIC ACCESS GOLF COURSES IN AUSTRALIA. THE ANNOUNCEMENT WAS MADE ON DECEMBER THE 18TH IN THE JANUARY 2015 PUBLICATION OF GOLF AUSTRALIA. NARACOORTE GOLF CLUB MAKES ITS DEBUT IN THIS RANKING AND SOME MIGHT SUGGEST IT IS LONG OVERDUE. THE PAR 72 IS NOT OVERLY LONG AND THE ROLLING TERRAIN MAKES IT AN ENJOYABLE WALK
The course is nicely manicured and would be the envy of many city courses with bigger budgets. The greens and the 30-plus bunkers scattered throughout are very good. The practice of cutting the greens right to the edge of some bunkers-as practised throughout the Melbourne Sandbelt-adds to the challenge of keeping your ball in position for the best approach to the flag.
The golf course has also proved a challenge to the 40-plus PGA golf professionals that have competed in the $10,000 Mini-Jumbuk PGA Legends Pro-Am. Rodger Davis won in 2013 and Peter Fowler 2014 with a score of 4 under par 68. 2015 resulted in a 3 way tie for 1st place, Mike Harwool, Alan May & Michael Barry shared the spoils. The Club was delighted to join the National Events On The PGA Legends Tour.
Guests are welcome to the golf club 7 days a week. Join the ladies competition on Wednesdays, mens super competition on Thursday & mens & ladies Saturday competition.
